The Wedding of Bonni Elizabeth Hall & Andrew James Bromage

This is a digital re-creation of the actual paper invitation. This one is built purely out of pixels using Photoshop and a digital pen tablet, with no scanned images whatsoever (because scanning a multi-part invitation with textured paper is a big huge pain in the neck). However, it's a pretty good reproduction of the actual paper invitation.

We chose the paper and ribbon and printed and assembled the invitations ourselves, with the help of Andrew's parents. If we consider the time spent shopping, doing the graphic design, choosing the font, printing the pages and assembling the invitations, the entire project took about eight hours total and cost considerably less than having invitations printed by someone else. Our greatest satisfaction was that the end result was exactly what we wanted, presented precisely the right "mood", and was absolutely unique to us and to our wedding.

Ivory/cream parchment on gold-colored hand-made textured paper, tied with a gold-edged green satin ribbon. The font used is "Dolphin".

Actual size was a nearly perfect A5 (half a letter-sized sheet), and they were sent in cream colored linen paper envelopes.

The original invitation also had response information in the lower left hand corner in a smaller type face; for privacy purposes I didn't include the information on this digital re-creation.

Note that as this is an English-style invitation, it has the name/s of the guest/s actually written (in this case printed) on the invitation itself.
