You may or may not have heard that eBay have decided that on eBay Australia, you can accept any kind of payments you want, so long as it's PayPal. Yes, that's right, it's PayPal or nothing. And they're testing it out in Australia to see how it goes, with an eye to introducing it elsewhere. Personally, I'm not so sure this is legal in Australia, but eBay has historically gotten away with all kinds of sneaky crap (for example, they don't charge GST nor do they provide any means for their sellers to do so).
Anyway, I thought if you were interested you might want to see just what's being written about it. This is worse, in my opinion, than the enormous fee hike in 2006 which put many people out of business, and it seems by the reaction to it, that many others feel the same way.
Oh, and in case you were unaware, eBay OWNS PayPal, lock, stock, and barrel, so while they're saying this is about "security", it's really about increasing eBay's profits.
