I admit, John Lennon is not my favourite Beatle (although as I write this, I am, interestingly, listening to a John Lennon song, She Said She Said, on my favourite Beatles album, Revolver). I have no particular dislike of John, but he just isn't my favourite (any regular reader of my blog knows I'm a George Harrison girl).

However, I do think John Lennon's death was tragic, for him, his family, the world, and the schitzoprenic who shot him (who will no doubt never see the light of day outside of a prison-hospital, no matter how well he responds to medication). The entire event is just, well, a tragedy.

Anyway, Yoko Ono has asked to remember John and his life by posting the above Christmas message for peace. So I am.
