The silvery cactus in the image below is about twice the size of my thumb, and the blossoms are only just the size of a fingertip. They close up at night, it’s very sweet. Unfortunately, they don’t stay very long, going from bud to blossom to completely gone in just a couple of weeks. Happily, I captured them in full bloom.
Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the lush, red, vine-ripened strawberry was, indeed, extremely delicious.
