Funniest St Patrick’s Day thing I’ve personally seen was a parade in Melbourne with a marching band comprised completely of bagpipe players (yes, those are Scottish), wearing kilts, but instead of tartans, the costumes were solid fields of green and gold (Australia’s national colors). And, as if that wasn’t peculiar enough, they were playing “Waltzing Matilda”.
